Storm

Blades of light
in a sea of darkness….
A lone car sails…
against the wrath of the skies…
And as the wail
conquers the roar,
A murmur of a heartbeat
blossoms within
the sailing tin-box
upon the flood-wet road
A lone window opens,
lets fly a fluttering puff of breath
Two heartbeats
become one.
And so goes
the lone car…
